OFFCOLL* is an architecture collaborative practice founded in 2024 by Guillermo Sánchez Cárdenas, Kevin Santus, Arianna Scaioli, and Maria Scandroglio Anelli. Operating between Milan, New York, and Mexico City, our practice explores the poetic and political potential of architecture to address climate crises and inequalities. Through the reuse, repair, and care of existing structures and landscapes, OFFCOLL* designs optimistic scenarios for human and non-human forms of living and coexisting in the present.

Team
Guillermo Sánchez Cárdenas
Architect and painter born in Toluca, Mexico in 1999. He studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano and EPFL. His work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami 2018, Milan Design Week 2024 and in group exhibitions in Zurich, Lausanne, Milan, and Mexico City. He has collaborated with architecture studios in Milan and Lausanne and has been a teaching assistant at IUAV Venezia and Politecnico di Milano.
Kevin Santus
Kevin Santus, Ph.D., is an architect and Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University in New York. From 2024 to 2026, he was a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where he also taught Architectural Design. His research focuses on the relationship between architecture, climate collapse, resource scarcity, and the reuse of the built environment. He has been invited to lecture at several international universities, including Zhejiang University (ZJU) and Lund University, and was a research consultant at the Brookfield Sustainability Institute in Toronto (2022–2023). Alongside his academic work, he has collaborated with architectural practices including FranzosoMarinelli (2021) and Rossiprodi Associati (2024–2026) and he has contributed to DOMUSweb since 2022.
Arianna Scaioli
Ph.D. is an architect, researcher, and co-founder of the collective OFFCOLL*. She earned her doctorate cum laude at Politecnico di Milano (DAStU), focusing on urban morphology, collective housing, and feminist spatial practices. A former Research Fellow (2024–2025), she curates international seminars on gender, care, and architecture, and has presented her work at venues like the Zaha Hadid Foundation. Arianna co-curates the platform Feminist by Design alongside Sumita Singha (Ecologic Architects), with whom she is co-authoring a book for Routledge (2027). She also works as an international consultant, contributing to interdisciplinary research with Toronto's Brookfield Sustainability Institute and MEET Digital Culture Center.
Maria Scandroglio Anelli
Maria Scandroglio Anelli was born in 1997 in Milan. She is a PhD candidate at the department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU) at Politecnico di Milano. She has presented her research on adaptive reuse at national and international universities. She graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, with exchange periods at ETSAM – Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and TU Berlin during her master studies. She is a teaching assistant at Politecnico di Milano with Prof. Mauro Marinelli (2023-2026), and in Hasselt with Kana Arioka (2026). Since 2020, she has collaborated with architecture practices and developed independent design projects.
